Carolyne Loreé Teston is a photographer, performance artist, and creative producer based in New York City. Alongside her art practice, she works as a photographer and producer, collaborating with artists, brands, and creative teams to produce editorial, commercial, and portrait projects from concept through final delivery.
Her work is anchored in a curiosity about our daily performances and what incentivizes them. A conversation around autonomy is present throughout her practice as she creates imagery that explores the construction of self, particularly in relation to the power dynamics of the gaze. She teaches PRISM, a portrait photography workshop in Brooklyn centered on the ethics of looking and relational exchange in image-making.
